Matt has been the (Sr.) Vice President of Human Resources for Ag Processing Inc (AGP) since 2016. AGP is the largest soybean processing cooperative west of the Mississippi River. Formed in 1983, AGP operates ten soybean processing plants in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and South Dakota, as well as four soybean oil refineries, and three biodiesel production facilities - and is in the process of building a new soy processing plant in David City, NE. AGP also operates an export (Port of Gray’s Harbor, Washington), centralized rail and grain merchandising business. In addition to our commodity-based products, AGP produces and markets AminoPlus®, a high-performance soy bypass protein product for the dairy industry.

Prior to his work at AGP, Matt was Human Resources Director at Danfoss (previously Sauer-Danfoss) in Ames, IA. During his 15 years at Danfoss Matt led Human Resources for North America, South America and Asia Pacific regions (at separate times).

Earlier in his career, Matt led Human Resource departments at various manufacturing facilities in Illinois, Kansas, Texas, Iowa and in the United Kingdom.

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Business/Organizational Communication and a master’s degree in Labor & Industrial from the University of Illinois.
