Harold van Es is a Professor and former Chair of the Department of Soil and Crop Sciences at Cornell University, and also served as the 2016 President of the Soil Science Society of America. His research focuses on soil health and precision agriculture and he is the lead inventor of “Adapt-N”, a computational technology for crop nitrogen management. In 2020, Dr. van Es worked as Ag Tech Innovation Lead for Yara International.
