As Director of Recruitment, Todd Schomburg leads the company’s efforts in procuring new talent to grow the future of Stine Seed Company. He searches for potential candidates through the management of job boards, networking, attending career fairs and his professional contacts. Todd established and currently manages the Stine sales internship program. He visits high schools, colleges and industry job fairs to meet and speak with academic leaders and students.
Before becoming Director of Recruitment, Todd joined Stine in 2001, he has served as Stine’s director of agronomy, where he helped build the agronomy department from the ground up. Todd also served as a regional sales agronomist in northwestern Iowa, central Iowa and eastern Nebraska, and corn sales division director. Before that, he served as an independent sales representative for six counties in central Iowa.
Todd was raised on a farm in Hampton, Iowa. He spends his free time attending Iowa State Cyclone football games and traveling when the opportunity arises.
