Courtney Knupp is with the US Soybean Export Council (USSEC) serving as the Focus Area Director for animal and aquaculture feed utilizing U.S. soy globally. Prior to USSEC, Knupp was the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Washington, DC, serving in multiple roles including Chief of Staff to the Assistant Secretary for Administration (ASA), Chief of Staff for Research, Education and Economics (REE) and Senior Policy Advisor to the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS). Prior to USDA, Knupp spent four years in the agricultural trade association community with the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) where she served as the Director of International Trade Policy, Chair of the Food and Agriculture Export Alliance (FAEA) and Vice Chair of the Meat and Industry International Stewardship Advisory Council (MIISAC). Knupp spent eight years of and started her career in the agribusiness sector in sales, marketing and brand management for Elanco Animal Health in Greenfield, IN, and BASF in Research Triangle Park, NC. Ms. Knupp, a native of Washington, Iowa, earned a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business with a minor in International Agriculture from Iowa State University.
