Amy Asmus, Vice President of Asmus Farm Supply, Inc, is a respected and successful owner/agronomist of a family owned agricultural retailer selling to growers who self-apply crop inputs. Amy has participated in state and international CCA board roles. Including international chairperson in 2014, and currently serves as liaison between the international CCA board and the American Society of Agronomy board. Amy is an active member of the Weed Science Society of America (WSSA) participating on the core Herbicide Resistance Education Committee. Amy was nominated by the Weed Science Society to serve on the EPA Office of Pesticide Programs advisory board Pesticide Policy Discussion Committee. This year starts her third term on this advisory board. Amy is a member of the Agricultural Retailer Association where she currently serves as the Vice Chair of the board, moving into the Chair position in 2024. Amy has also served as a speaker on several panels with CropLife America, CropLife Canada, WSSA, Iowa State University and numerous other groups as requested. Amy is the mother of three wonderful children and grandmother to 4 (soon to be 6). She is active in her church and loves to read, garden quilt and travel with her family.
