David is the Central US Agronomy Risk Manager for Wilbur Ellis. As the Agronomy Risk Manager, David’s role is to address the agronomy & regulatory risk facing Wilbur Ellis on a daily basis. This includes addressing all crop claims which come in, determining the root cause analysis or each crop claim, and subsequent training to prevent further claims. David is also responsible for keeping up to date on regulatory changes and challenges as well as ensuring these changes are challenges are communicated to locations.

David is a Certified Crop Advisor and also has his resistance management designation. David is active in various safety and pesticide groups across the US, including the Pesticide Education Research Collaborative and the National Agronomic Health and Environment School.

David lives in Ankeny with his wife Jennifer and their two boys. In his free time, David is still active in farming operations In his wife’s hometown of Albert City, Iowa.
