Dr. Claire Phillips is a Research Soil Scientist with the USDA Agricultural Research Service. She is currently affiliated with the Northwest Sustainable Agroecosystem Research Unit in Pullman, Washington, and prior to this appointment was affiliated with the National Laboratory for Agriculture and Environment in Ames, Iowa. Her research broadly addresses soil carbon, water, and greenhouse gas dynamics in agricultural soils. She holds a Ph.D. from Oregon State University (Ph.D.) and a M.S. and B.S. from Stanford University.
