Molly Toot has worked in the agriculture industry for over 25 years. Currently she serves as the GROW Business Leader at Landus. In this role she oversees the GROW Solutions Center, Innovation Cell and Innovation Center, as well as the GROW Ag Data Locker all of which are focused on the future of Landus. The GROW team advocates for farmer-owners to find new ways to be successful and profitable in a challenging global marketplace. Molly spends time engaging with industry, supply chain, and policy partners while also providing leadership in government and policy relations; development, training, and implementation of sustainability programs; and identifying new technology and business models. She is focused on identifying new income streams for Landus and farmer-owners through government grants, food company partnerships, and other innovative business opportunities.
Prior to her role at Landus, Molly worked at Land O’Lakes Truterra, where she served as Director of Sustainability and was instrumental in developing the Truterra Sustainability program from its inception. She also worked at United Suppliers, where she oversaw branding, marketing and developed the SUSTAIN platform. Her experience includes various sales and marketing leadership roles in the swine, seed sales, and crop protection industries.
Molly has three adult children and one granddaughter. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and makes her home in Ames, Iowa.
