Dwayne Kerr is a Region 7 Chemical Security Inspector within the Integrated Operations Division (IOD) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Office of Chemical Security.
In this capacity, Mr. Kerr is responsible for the execution of voluntary and regulatory inspections at chemical facilities posing high risk of vulnerability to terrorist attack and/or theft or diversion of hazardous chemicals that could be used in a terrorist attack against the homeland. Additionally, he supports IOD regional operations and programs and performs outreach with federal, state, local, and tribal government agencies, as well as business associations, corporations, cooperatives, and local stakeholders within Region 7.
Mr. Kerr has been with DHS since January 2010. Prior to his employment with DHS, Mr. Kerr’s work experience includes law enforcement, security, antiterrorism, and inspections during his 25-year US Air Force career.
