Don Sobaski is currently the Fertilizer and Chemical Division Manager for FarmChem. Prior to FarmChem, for 12 years Don worked in various roles for Corteva Agriscience and Pioneer Hi-Bred including that of Sales Excellence Manager, North America Sales Training Lead, Sales Effectiveness Manager, and Sales Training & Development Manager. Prior to Corteva, Don had a 20-year career with Syngenta Crop Protection as Sales Training Lead, Retail Key Account Manager, and Technical Sales Representative. He jokes that his career started at the age of five working on his family’s hog and row crop farm in southeast Iowa. However, it was what was supposed to be a part time high school job working in Ag Retail, where he developed his love for the agriculture industry. Those planted seeds emerged into an Agronomy degree from Iowa State which grew into a very rewarding career. Outside of work, Don and his family love supporting the Iowa State Cyclones and Wartburg Knights athletics. They also enjoy bass fishing, golf and farm activities on their southeast Iowa farm where they reside today.
