Dan career spans over 30 years of professional seed and agricultural experience. He most recently joined Remington Seeds as Vice President in October of 2024. Remington Seeds is a leading provider of contract seed production and services for corn, soybean, sorghum, sunflowers and other crops.
For the previous 13 years, Dan worked with DLF North America and La Crosse Seed serving most recently as DLF’s Senior Vice President, Distribution and CEO of La Crosse Seed, respectively.
Prior to that, Dan worked at Monsanto for 12 years. His Monsanto career began in sales, followed by roles launching Roundup Ready® Alfalfa, leading the genetic and trait marketing efforts for the Corn States licensing division and completing successful ex-pat assignments in both Colombia and Mexico. His first job after college was with Becker-Underwood for five years where he held several market development and sales roles during his time with them.
Dan’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Iowa State University and a Masters in International Business from St. Louis University. Dan is also the current Chair of the American Seed Trade Association; an office which he will hold until July of 2025.
He resides in La Crosse County, Wisconsin with his wife, Beth, and their three daughters. Outside of work, Dan enjoys cooking, exercising, reading, live music, traveling and spending time with his family.
